Happy Easter! He Is Risen!!
Here is the finished craft that I made for our church Easter breakfast tomorrow. Since we have a “tomb” on our lawn- with a large cross inside- I went with that as my theme. I think it came out pretty nice. Clay dish and pirate the base. Covered in dirt and sphagnum miss. Pebbles for the path, and tucked a few aloe plants in for greenery. Twigs make the crosses. What do you think?
I’m still working on the centerpiece for our church Sunrise Service Breakfast, so that will be shared later. Here is the centerpiece I made for last years breakfast. It is so colorful and spring like. There were many many comments on it. It used the Designer Rosette Die in various sizes and lace doilies and Fun Flowers to decorate. The eggs are from a Dollar Store.
Materials to make this:

I was busy this weekend making all sorts of Easter things- some for friends and some for my family. I wanted to send a special card to my Aunt in Florida. I saw this card on our team website from another demonstrator. Hers was just beautiful, but had lots of pearls and other decor that would not work in the mail. I modified so the card was still impressive, but flatter so it would go through the mail ok.
Would you like to get a card like this in the mail? I know I would!
Supplies to make this card:
Summer Starfruit cardstock,
Ink- Summer Starfruit
Silver glimmer paper, Tea For Two DSP ( 129311); Flower Trim (126869)
Stamp- Easter Blessings (129183)
Holy Week has begun, so today I’d like to share another cross I have made for Easter. This cross was cased from Betty at Kitty Stamps blog, from several years ago. I love this, and it is one of my favorite crosses to make at Easter. I attached it to a little container made from the purse die. It helps it to stand alone and you can put a few treats in there to weigh it down. Don’t you think this is beautiful?
I’d also like to share a different version of the stand alone cross from last week. A friend asked for one made in purple. I don’t have a lot of purple papers etc, but I think this fits the bill and that she will be pleased. What do you think?
By the way- the package arrived to my son and his roommates and they were quite thrilled with all the goodies! They even posted pictures on their facebook pages! Needless to say, this week I’ll be sending additional goodies for a refill. (gets them out of my kitchen so I can’t eat them!)
