I was busy this weekend making all sorts of Easter things- some for friends and some for my family. I wanted to send a special card to my Aunt in Florida. I saw this card on our team website from another demonstrator. Hers was just beautiful, but had lots of pearls and other decor that would not work in the mail. I modified so the card was still impressive, but flatter so it would go through the mail ok.
Would you like to get a card like this in the mail? I know I would!
Supplies to make this card:
Summer Starfruit cardstock,
Ink- Summer Starfruit
Silver glimmer paper, Tea For Two DSP ( 129311); Flower Trim (126869)
Stamp- Easter Blessings (129183)
It’s still snowing here in upstate NY and I really felt like I needed a breath of spring- and that is just what this pretty card delivers.
I love pool party color, and hope it becomes a permanent color after it retires from the “In Color” palette.
Using pool party card stock,(122924) core’dinations (129321) and designer paper. The center greeting frame is from Designer Frame folders (123130) in the main catalog. The flowers are from the spring catalog, Flower Trim (126869) dyed with pool party ink.
All in all this makes a pretty, spring-y card.
I love, love, love the new Honey comb embossing folder in the spring catalog. (129378) I’m always amazed that such a simple technique as embossing can add so much to a card. One of the new flower trim (126869) pg 5, and a strip of dsp from Print Poetry DSP Paper Stack really set this card off. (129312) p 16.
