Butterflies, Swallowtail, and time flies, too!

Sorry for the late post today.  Sickness, and an hour time change got me- and I messed up the timing.

At Stamp Camp Last week this was one of the most popular cards we made.  In fact it was on the display board and several campers walked in and the first this they said was “I want to learn how to make that card”.  This card is simple and quick- and even more beautiful in person than in the picture.

Using a Versamark pad (102283), stamp the image (swallowtail (w-129213; c- 129216) in your card stock. Emboss in gold embossing powder (109129)  Next take the scroll from the Everything Eleanor stamp set (w- 124162; c-  124164)  and using Island Indigo ink pad (126986) stamp off everal times and stamp around the butterfly.  (dont’ worry, it won’t show where it overlaps the embossing)  Next using sponge daubers (102892) sponge ink of your choice , working it into the embossed areas.  Starting light and adding more in for a more intense color.  We used Island Indigo (126986) More Mustard (126964) and a little Wisteria Wonder (126985)

Add a greeting at the bottom and you have a beautiful card that can be used for many different occasions.  All of the supplies used in this card can be ordered in my online store here!  Have a wonderful week, and be sure to share your thoughts on this card in the comment section below!
